The Hospitality Associate works across multiple departments including OAH, Wine Club and Events.
This is a part-time position, 32 hours a week, days may vary, non-exempt status. Hourly rate: TBD The split
will be 50 OAH | 25 Club | 25 Events
Duties & Responsibilities:
OAH
– Virtual presentations and fulfillment.
– Building, shipping and fulfillment of wine tasting kits.
– Assisting guests with wine tasting, education, and purchases
– Building, maintaining, and expanding positive customer relations, which may include outreach, emails,
and phone calls
– Selling wine, wine clubs, accessories, and merchandise to guests
– Providing excellent customer service in person, through zoom, over the telephone, and through email.
– Assisting with product and brand development
– Conduct a competitive analysis with our top 5 peers:
– Pricing structure
– Quantity and ounces of wine
– Packaging including bottle, exterior, labeling, who they use for bottling
– Marketing
– Presentation offered and if so who does it and is it live/recorded
– Shipping cost, turnaround and carrier
– Wine shelf life
Food pairings
– Do they offer gifting
WINE CLUB
– Shipping labels during club season
– Pull end of month reporting
– Sending wine keys twice a year
– Handling shipping exceptions
– Email management
– Supply orders every other week
EVENTS
– Research appropriate caterers/restaurants/musicians for Events
– Coordinate rental contracts
– Help set up and tear down events
– Communicating with event guests through email and in person
