Post Script – Dessert Wine

Once poured, the aromas of exotic fruits from far away lands burst out of the glass. Turkish apricots, Ceylon ginger, Madagascar vanilla bean, and Persian saffron all arise from the bouquet. After that initial burst of aromatic sweetness, beautiful floral notes of lilac and oleander emerge. On the palate, rounded, indulgent notes of caramel and crème brûlée are on display. The pleasant acidity and mid palate of the wine carry all of those notes through to a lengthy finish filled with fresh honeycomb and ground coffee beans.
