Fiery Nights

A unique Syrah expression that delves feet first into spicy notes of black olive tapenade and peppercorn along with a soy sauce saltiness and scorched earth. These are intriguing components of the wine but more dominant aromas of cut cedar, sticky fig, and black currents carry the weight and decadence of the wine along with a bright and sweet note of vanilla bean. Fruitful and candied continue on the palate with notes of raspberry drizzle and cranberry juice balanced between heavy decadence and bright acidity while a spiced edge of roasted cayenne pepper and cigar box bring a depth of flavor. Gobs of moderately dense and velvety tannin is cut by a healthy dose of acidity that is sure to keep the wine fresh for at least a decade.
