Black Orchid

At last, the last of our 2020 wines to be released, the Black Orchid Petite Sirah, is here! Patience is key with this wine, as Petite Sirah is filled with rich layers of chewy tannins and opulent flavors that only gets better with time. In the winery we give you a head start by extended barrel ageing this wine for a total of 28 months (opposed to the typical 18 months for other wines). This allows the wine to better integrate oak from the barrels and soften tannins before bottling. Expect cascading aromas of jammy blackberry and pie crust with an elegant edge of floral perfumes. And on the palate, gushing flavors candied blue and black fruits overlaid with rich layers of velvety smooth tannins. This wine is ready to drink upon arrival or will age beautifully for 10-14 years!
